MiClub app, tips and tricks #2 create interactive customer experiences with the QR scanner

All MiClub apps come with an inbuilt QR scanner which utilises the camera on your mobile device. All pages within the app come with an exportable QR code. Drive more app downloads within the clubhouse by using the scanner and QR codes as a promotional tool. QR codes can be exported for pages within the app, which when scanned will open that page.
To export QR codes for pages, simply click the ‘Get QR Code’ button at the top of the edit contents page. The QR code will open in a popup box where it can then be saved to your computer by right clicking on the code and clicking ‘Save image as’.
Our idea!
- Create a page of promotional content such as a Pro Shop or bar special offer.
- Copy and paste the QR code from that app page to a promotional poster.
- Display your poster prominently around the clubhouse advising patrons to download your app and scan the QR code to unlock the special offer.
Hint: On your promotion page include instructions on how to redeem the offer
(i.e. show this page to a staff member in the Pro Shop etc.)
