Golf CONNECT Update #10: Score Submission Errors, Course Setups, Competitions, Score Processes & Support
Posted: 22nd October 2025 in Latest news

The transition to Golf Australia CONNECT has introduced significant process changes across several areas. MiClub remain in regular contact with Golf Australia, raising issues as they are identified and promptly implementing any necessary updates within the MiClub system.
A summary of current items being addressed is provided below.
Score Submission Errors
We are aware of instances where competition rounds for handicapping are not processing correctly for a small number of players. In these cases, players are incorrectly receiving a score status of Incomplete or NSNA within Golf Australia CONNECT. This issue is ongoing, and MiClub and other LSP’s have escalated this with Golf Australia. We are actively assisting in identifying the cause and will help correct any backlog once a resolution is implemented. Please report any cases to MiClub’s support team, and we will log with Golf Australia.
New or Temporary Course Setups
If a new or temporary course is required urgently, please initially contact Golf Australia and follow the process below. The course creation process now originates in the Golf Australia CONNECT platform.
Process:
- Contact Golf Australia to request the new/temporary course and set the activation to today (date of request). Do not have the course activated on the date of first play, as this course won’t be available in MiClub to setup your competition prior.
- Once completed, contact MiClub Support for assistance.
- Set up the competition and print a test scorecard (PDF) to verify details.
Note: If you see a course tee marker update/import on the competition page, contact MiClub Support to validate it.
Home Club Transfers
Transferring of a member’s home club must now be actioned directly in Golf Australia CONNECT. Please see this support article for details.
Score Entry Process
Scores now submit in two stages within Golf Australia CONNECT:
- Once finalised (via MiScore, kiosk, or card scan), scores appear in the member’s history in an unprocessed state.
- After approval in the end-of-day batch (in MiClub Golf / OneGolf), scores are processed for handicapping.
*For non-handicapped events, set ‘Golf Australia Competition’ = No in the competition setup before score entry.
Duplicate Scores
Since the transition to Golf Australia CONNECT, we have experienced some duplicate scores which have appeared in fourball handicapped events. A system fix is being deployed shortly. In the meantime, if this occurs, remove duplicates via admin access in Golf Australia CONNECT.
Multi-Round Competitions
For multi-round competitions that extend to prior and after the Golf Australia CONNECT transition, we recommend not adding the rounds post transition to the multi-round. As course details and handicaps have changed, this will cause irregular results. MiClub recommend exporting results to Excel and manually add later rounds to avoid data irregularities.
Competition Templates
A reminder to review and update your competition templates, ensuring the correct tee blocks are selected. We’ve received several queries relating to this, as it can cause issues with 9-hole handicap stroke allocations on the app and scorecard. This can be difficult for MiClub to resolve, as we are not always aware of each club’s default tees.
Support
MiClub is receiving a high volume of Golf Australia CONNECT – related enquiries. We appreciate your patience as outstanding issues are resolved.
