GOLF AUSTRALIA CONNECT | LSP Club Activation

A reminder that all clubs should now have activated their Golf Australia CONNECT accounts as per the details forwarded by Golf Australia on Wednesday 27 August. As a MiClub client your club will need to follow the LSP (Licensed service provider) onboarding instructions provided by Golf Australia. 

Clubs that currently do not have an agreement for Golf Australia CONNECT are encouraged to contact Golf Australia as soon as possible to ensure that activation details for the new handicapping system are in place prior to the system transition period.

MICLUB TRAINING MATERIALS

MiClub will start the distribution of online training materials to all clubs for the Golf Australia CONNECT upgrade from Wednesday 17 September.

Training materials, including video demonstrations related to new procedures, will be hosted in the MiClub User Tutorials section of our Help website.

Training materials will be categorised into three (3) sections as follows:

  • Competition Management & Scoring
  • Handicap Management
  • Course Management

Links to these new online training resources will be distributed to all clubs via direct mail, and available via the Golf CONNECT Updates section of the MiClub Golf admin portal. MICLUB GOLF: Transition period (reminder)

The required product upgrades and system changes to all MiClub Golf and OneGolf clients to integrate with Golf Australia CONNECT will begin on Monday, 29 September following the timetable outlined below.

A reminder to all clubs that MiClub Golf sites will be updated on the following dates:

(Note that all sites, both MiClub Golf / OneGolf, will be upgraded in alphabetic order)

IMPORTANT NOTE:

While MiClub Golf is available to run non-handicapped competitions during the Golf Australia CONNECT transition period, including using the MiScore digital scoring app, clubs are requested to NOT run any competitions on the date of the system upgrades as per the above schedule.

MITOURNAMENT: Availability during system transition period

Please note that the MiTournament event registration website WILL NOT be available during the system transition period from Monday 29 September to Monday 06 October. This is due to GolfLink being decommissioned as of the close of daily competitions on Sunday 28 September.

Clubs looking to run event registration during this period, where handicap lookups will not be available, are encouraged to investigate alternate solutions.
