font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\"><b>MiClub training materials: Handicap Management<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Six new support articles are now available via the MiClub Help website regarding new system procedures for handicap management:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Handicap changes in new system (Overview)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Initial Handicap provision<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Create a new Golf ID (new players)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Set Golf ID (home players)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Set a secondary Golf ID (non home players)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">How daily handicaps are calculated<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/testedm.my.canva.site\/miclubtraining\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CLICK HERE TO VISIT OUR TRAINING VIDEO \/ DOCUMENTATION LINKS PAGE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\"><span style=\"color: #315f8b;\"><b>Existing and New Member Management<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Following the implementation of Golf Australia CONNECT and the activation of the LSP interface for MiClub clients (Clubs), member data will be managed as detailed below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\"><b>Note:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i>A Golf ID will remain with a player for life, regardless of their club membership status or location.<\/i><\/li>\n<li><i>The current GolfLink transfer method will be discontinued.<\/i><\/li>\n<li><i>If a member wishes to change their allocated home club, this must be done exclusively in Golf Australia CONNECT.<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Existing Members (Joined Prior to 29 September 2025)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Golf Australia will transition all existing member data from GolfLink into Golf Australia CONNECT.<\/li>\n<li>The member\u2019s GolfLink Number will automatically become their Golf ID.<\/li>\n<li>Once the transition is complete, MiClub will only update name\u00a0and DOB\u00a0changes via the interface to Golf Australia CONNECT.<\/li>\n<li>All other updates (e.g., email address, personal details) must be managed directly by the member via\u00a0golf.com.au or the club directly in Golf Australia CONNECT.<\/li>\n<li>If an existing member\u00a0wants to access their handicap details\u00a0and does not currently have a GolfLink login :<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>A club administrator\u00a0can\u00a0log in to the Golf Australia CONNECT portal and add the member\u2019s email address.<\/li>\n<li>The member can then use their Golf ID and registered email address to complete the registration process\u00a0via\u00a0golf.com.au.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">\u00a0<\/span><b>New Member Creation (From Go-Live)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">When a new golfing member is created in MiClub*, the following details are automatically transferred via the interface to Golf Australia CONNECT, activating their Golf ID:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>First Name<\/li>\n<li>Surname<\/li>\n<li>Gender<\/li>\n<li>Club<\/li>\n<li>Postcode<\/li>\n<li>Date of Birth (DD\/MM\/YYYY)<\/li>\n<li>Email Address (required \u2013 by default, the club\u2019s email will be pre-populated, this\u00a0can\u00a0be replaced with the members personal email, subject to the club confirming they have received consent from the member as per the Privacy Laws)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>If the member\u00a0<b>does not<\/b>\u00a0wish to access golf.com.au or the Golf Australia app, no action is required.<\/li>\n<li>If the member\u00a0<b>does<\/b>\u00a0want\u00a0to\u00a0access to golf.com.au or the Golf Australia app, the club must record their personal email and manage consent for sharing details with Golf Australia.
