{"id":5734,"date":"2021-04-07T11:18:10","date_gmt":"2021-04-07T03:18:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.miclub.com.au\/cms\/?page_id=5734"},"modified":"2021-10-26T11:53:47","modified_gmt":"2021-10-26T03:53:47","slug":"hardware-requirements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.miclub.com.au\/cms\/hardware-requirements\/","title":{"rendered":"Hardware Requirements"},"content":{"rendered":"<table width=\"664\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"180\">\n<h2><strong>Support: <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>T: 08 9444 5300<\/p>\n<p>E: Support@miclub.com.au<\/p>\n<p>W: help.miclub.com.au<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"484\">\n<h1>Introduction<\/h1>\n<p>This document defines the hardware and software requirements for local club devices connected to the MiClub Golf, OneGolf and membership management system (MiMembership).<\/p>\n<p>MiClub will only support systems where the devices meet the specifications in this document.<\/p>\n<p>Clubs with devices that do not meet these specifications may be charged by MiClub to provide support for issues raised when using these devices.<\/p>\n<h1>Computers<\/h1>\n<p>Windows PC\u2019s are used for player registration, card scanning, card printing, membership module installation and club leaderboard displays.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>PC\u2019s should have the following as a minimum:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Intel dual core processor or higher<\/li>\n<li>Memory (RAM) 4GB<\/li>\n<li>Hard disk drive of 250 GB or larger<\/li>\n<li>Windows 10<\/li>\n<li>64-bit operating system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>MiClub Golf and OneGolf<\/h3>\n<p>(Hosted Solution)<\/p>\n<p>The following configuration needs to be used, depending on the use of the PC:<\/p>\n<h2>Scanner PC<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Local administrator rights on the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Google Chrome in Kiosk mode<\/li>\n<li>Windows updates to automatically update outside of competition times<\/li>\n<li>PC to restart at least once per week<\/li>\n<li>PC must remain powered on one day per week, to ensure Windows updates are installed.<\/li>\n<li>Max Power performance<\/li>\n<li>Bluetooth settings disabled<\/li>\n<li>Up-to-date USB Driver<\/li>\n<li>Touch settings, only single touch enabled. Multi-touch and panning disabled.<\/li>\n<li>MiClub ScreenConnect loaded and enabled<\/li>\n<li>Un-used icons removed from desktop and windows toolbar<\/li>\n<li>Anti-Virus program not removing items in the C:\\golfautoscore folder and not performing a scan during competition times<\/li>\n<li>Anti-Virus program must not remove persistent cookies.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to download .exe files and unzip\/run to install the scanning software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Printer PC<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Proshop<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preferred browser for printing is Google Chrome.<\/li>\n<li>Windows updates to automatically update outside of competition times.<\/li>\n<li>PC to restart at least once per week.<\/li>\n<li>PC must remain powered on one day per week, to ensure Windows updates are installed.<\/li>\n<li>No Anti-virus program or Server interfering with card printing.<\/li>\n<li>Anti-Virus program must not remove persistent cookies.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to download .exe files and unzip\/run to install the printing software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Registration PC<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Local administrator rights on the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Google Chrome in Kiosk mode<\/li>\n<li>Windows updates to automatically update outside of competition times.<\/li>\n<li>PC to restart at least once per week.<\/li>\n<li>PC must remain powered on one day per week, to ensure Windows updates are installed.<\/li>\n<li>Max Power performance<\/li>\n<li>Bluetooth settings disabled<\/li>\n<li>Touch settings, only single touch enabled. A chromecast device or similar maybe used to display leaderboards on TV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Printers<\/h1>\n<p>The following printers are the only printers that have been validated for use with the MiScore card scanning systems. Other printers are not supported.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>MiScore<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HP E50145DN<\/li>\n<li>Samsung SL-3820ND (Low Volume)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Networked printer\/s must be assigned and configured with a static IP address, unless connected via USB printer cable.<\/p>\n<h1>Internet Speed<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>An Internet connection with a minimum speed of 6 Mbps is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Regular Maintenance<\/h1>\n<p>To ensure the ongoing reliability of the golf management system, the following regular maintenance is required:<\/p>\n<h2>Printers<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Service Annually<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note also that MiClub must approve any scanner, printer and PC setting changes before they are made.<\/p>\n<h1>Scorecards<\/h1>\n<p>All Scorecards for use with the MiScore system must be purchased from MiClub.
