Vouchers

Vouchers can be very effective as a marketing tool to increase interactions with existing customers and generate new customers.

  • Increase your presence with potentially new customers.
  • Engage with existing customers and entice them to keep booking.
  • Reward and create loyalty with frequent players.
  • Build a relationship with your database by offering more than email communications. 

Trigger marketing

Engage with loyal and new customers with event triggers. Data is collected at the time of booking that can be used to create trigger marketing at key times or markers, eg, date of birth, postcode and rounds booked. Players receive an email including a voucher code which can be redeemed through the MiClub timesheet (Green Fee module). 

Gift vouchers

Sell gift vouchers online for a set value, great for a gift voucher. Customers can specify the recipient of the voucher which will be emailed, and define a separate contact for the receipt. The perfect birthday present!

Management

Vouchers can be managed through the following configuration options:

  • Validity date
  • Unique – single redemption only
  • Multi-Use – Available for multiple redemption
  • Player specific – unique voucher for particular player
  • Green fee category specific – can be redeemed only for set time range and/or days.
  • Exclude or include items such as golf carts for voucher
  • Set a minimum and or maximum number of players to redeem voucher
  • Set a $ value voucher limit. eg, 20% off, but a maximum of $20
  • Reporting for vouchers shows issued vouchers, redeemed vouchers and liable.

Refunds

  • Prepaid bookings (credit card) can be refunded for a voucher to be redeemed in the future. (Automating refund process).

  • Vouchers can be issued for a part played round cancelled to do poor weather. 

Set your strategy

To ensure vouchers and trigger marketing works for your club or course, you will need to set some objectives.

Consider these questions to start off your strategy:

  • What are you aiming to achieve by introducing vouchers?
  • Who will you be targeting?
  • What is the benefit for your club?

Once you have a few goals, you will be able to set clear strategies.
